Merissa became a veterinary nurse in 2005, and has since had experience in multiple veterinary clinics as well as the pet food industry. She joined our team in October 2014. She has been an animal lover since birth, attending dog obedience trials with her parents and the family German Shepherd and Irish Setters before she could walk, and was cat-obsessed throughout her childhood. Having bred numerous litters of Burmese cats and Australian Bulldogs and fostering countless puppies and kittens, it’s natural that her passion includes reproduction, neonatal care and nutrition. She enjoys regular obedience training with her dogs, including George (pictured) and hopes to progress into other activities such as tracking and herding with her German Shepherd, Hannah, who arrived to the family in June 2015.
