You are invited to join us for puppy preschool at Wyndham Veterinary Clinic!
Puppy preschool is available on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 8pm. It is a 5 week course, with the first session being an information night, followed by 4 classes which is held indoors at our clinic. Puppy preschool is for younger pups aged from 8 – 12 weeks. All puppies must have had their first vaccination (vaccination certificate required if done at another clinic). Older puppies are welcome to attend Puppy High School.
You will learn how to give your puppy the best start in life including; socialisation, basic training via reward based training methods, information on oral health, nutrition, worming and flea products and much more. Each puppy is welcome to have three guests (children are welcome and must be over 8 years and accompanied by an adult). You must have your puppy on a lead with a suitable collar. Mats are provided, but it is advised to bring a small blanket your puppy is familiar with to help your puppy settle and feel comfortable. We also recommend you bring a variety of treats and a toy for your puppy. Feed half your puppy’s normal meal and bring the other half with you to use as treats during the training session.
Puppies have the chance to learn socialisation in a controlled environment
Puppies get the opportunity to interact and learn appropriate socialisation skills with one of Pro Dogs specially trained Educator Dogs
Bookings are essential! Speak to our receptionists and a booking will be made. Classes fill fast so if you wish to attend it is recommended that you book and pay your enrolment fee at the time of the booking. Places are limited to allow individual care and instruction. Due to the popularity of our classes, enrolment places cannot be reserved unless payment has been received. To see the current cost, please visit our price list.
